TECHNOLOGY_BRIEFING
// WHAT 2501 DOES
ServiceNow is 2501's default gateway: a ticket raised in ServiceNow becomes work for 2501's agents, and the outcome is written back to the ticket. Incidents are diagnosed and fixed on the machines they name, and approved change requests are carried out exactly as planned.
The slow part of a ServiceNow queue is rarely the fix itself. It is reading the ticket, finding the machine, and writing up what was done so the next person can trust it.
2501 reads each incident with its attachments and gives the work to the agent and machine best suited to it; if a ticket names a machine that is not registered, it says so rather than guessing. Duplicate tickets are linked to the original and resolved with it. The requester sees the summary, plans stay in internal work notes, and a comment can steer or reopen the work. A change request is acted on only once it is approved and ready to implement: its plan is executed as written, the change moves to review, and closing it stays with your team.

Which ServiceNow records does 2501 work on? Incidents and change requests.
Will 2501 execute a change that has not been approved? No. It acts only on approved changes that are ready to implement.
Can we use 2501 with another ITSM? Yes. ServiceNow is the default gateway, and other ticketing systems connect through custom-built gateways.
