SPECIALTY_BRIEFING
// WHAT 2501 DOES
2501's Terraform Operator specialty handles Terraform and OpenTofu plan review, drift detection, changes to single resources and state investigation, and applies only what a reviewed plan showed. Replacing or destroying a stateful resource needs a person's approval, and the rest goes only as far as you allow.
A plan that looks like a small update can still rebuild a production database, and a change made by hand shows up as drift nobody can explain.
The Terraform specialty takes these requests from your ticketing system. It flags any replacement or deletion of a stateful resource, such as a database or load balancer, however the ticket is worded. It works out why drift happened, such as a manual change or a second stack managing the resource, and reconciles only when Terraform is clearly the source of truth. Changing a single resource on its own is kept for urgent cases, followed by a check that the whole stack matches its configuration. State is never edited by hand, a lock another run still holds is never forced, and ambiguous cases are escalated.

Does it work with OpenTofu? Yes. Terraform and OpenTofu stacks are handled alike.
Will it apply a plan that deletes a database? Not without a person. The plan is flagged and waits for a decision.
Can it detect drift without changing anything? Yes. In investigate-only mode it reports what drifted and why, and changes nothing.
Each page is one kind of ticket, and how this specialty handles it within the limits you set.
